ОАО 'Аэрофлот - российские авиалинии' стало обладателем национальной премии в области бизнеса 'Компания года' в номинации 'Транспортные услуги'.

Ежегодная Национальная премия 'Компания года' зарекомендовала себя как общественный институт, который не только называет лучшие компании, но создает новый имидж российского бизнеса и продвигает современные стандарты деловой этики. Национальный конкурс 'Компания года' проводится с 1998 года под патронажем Торгово-промышленной палаты РФ. Организатор - РБК.

В 2002 году экспертный совет национальной премии 'Компания года' вручил ОАО 'Аэрофлот' диплом как лучшей российской компании в сфере услуг массового спроса.

Организаторы конкурса высоко оценили достижения авиакомпании Аэрофлот в уходящем году. В истории отечественных авиаперевозок Аэрофлот стал первой российской авиакомпанией, вступившей в глобальный авиационный альянс SkyTeam, благодаря чему география полетов для граждан РФ расширилась до 791 пункта 162 стран.

14 December 2008. Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) announced figures that showed a continuing fall in cargo and passenger volume in November. Hong Kong International Airport handled 3.8 million passengers and 296,000 tonnes of cargo in November 2008, representing a year-on-year drop of 5.6% and 18.7% respectively. Air traffic movements fell 1.3% from November 2007 to 24,815.
