The first flight on a new route Shanghai – Frankfurt – Copenhagen was successfully launched by China Eastern Airlines from Pudong International Airport in the morning of October 30th.
From 30th of October, there will be 3 round-trip flights every week. The new air route is actually an extended route of the company's currently operating Shanghai-Frankfurt route. It’s also the second route connecting Shanghai with North Europe after Finnair’s Shanghai – Helsinki route. The opening of new route will intensify contacts between Shanghai and North Europe, and also will promote Shanghai as an international air hub.
