ATC Avia - 南航上半年亏损8.25亿元

中国南方航空公司公布，在截至6月30日为止的上半年，该公司录得8.25亿元人民币（折合1.0339亿美元）的亏损，但相对去年同期的9.07亿元亏损有所改善。

南航将上半年的净亏损的原因归结为航油价格的不断攀升，以及美元贷款利率的提高，导致公司所面对的成本压力没有缓解。

这份未经审计的中期报告表示，上半年该公司的经营收入达206亿元，比去年同期的178.4亿元为高。

南航在其报告中说：「通过提高运载能力，集团提升了其旅客运载量，这有助於优化公司的航线网络，提高航机使用率和服务质量，以及增加企业的收入。这样做的结果是集团的旅客和货物量、旅客上座率和收入水平都有不同程度的上升，使集团的整体营运收入比去年同期有所上升。然而，上半年由於航油价格不断攀升，加上美元贷款利率的上升，公司所面对的经营压力丝毫没有得到缓解，致使上半年出现净亏损。」

在报告期内，南航的总运输量同比增加10.9%至37.08亿吨公里；货邮运量上升8.0%至37.6万吨；旅客上座率增加3.6%至70.7%；旅客运输量上升12.0%至2,268.6万人次；货邮运输收入则同比上升8.1%至16.0亿元。

展望未来，该公司表示：「目前集团在营运上面临着严峻的挑战，但公司将会利用金融衍生产品，如航油期货风险规避和利率交易的优势，积极研究新方法减轻成本压力，并继续、一如既往地严格控制企业成本，提高企业的整体效率。」

14 December 2008. Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) announced figures that showed a continuing fall in cargo and passenger volume in November. Hong Kong International Airport handled 3.8 million passengers and 296,000 tonnes of cargo in November 2008, representing a year-on-year drop of 5.6% and 18.7% respectively. Air traffic movements fell 1.3% from November 2007 to 24,815.
