CHIWAN Container Terminal (CCT) surpassed its previous throughput high in May by 40,000 TEU, after handling 410,000 TEU in July, according to a company statement.
Since the beginning of the year CCT has been strengthening its marketing promotions to stress its geographical advantage and re-enforcing its management team to provide higher quality service to its clients, the statement said.
CCT also announced that the frequency of weekly services at the facility has increased from 54 sailings at the beginning of 2005, to the current 64.
